Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% by The Ordinary
This formula blends high concentrations of two important antioxidants (resveratrol and ferulic acid).
Resveratrol is found in various plants (grapes, for example) and in this case is derived from Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica).
Ferulic acid, for its part, is a high-potency antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants.
If we look at other formulations containing these two components, we can see that most incorporate them in very small concentrations (1% or less). However, in this product, we find them at 3% in both cases.
- Target:signs of aging and uneven texture.
- Application order:before oils and creams.
- Conflicts:none.
- Time of use:morning and/or evening.
Concern:
Can be used after a water-based serum, or as a serum on its own, just before your moisturizer or oil. Can be mixed with The Ordinary Vitamin C solutions for even more antioxidant power.
