Dental tape is composed of a very fine, resistant, soft, and flexible monofilament fiber. This fiber is made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene).
This PTFE fiber slides between teeth much more easily, does not fray thanks to its structure, its extreme softness protects the gums from possible injury, and has a high plaque removal capacity.
Extra-soft with Fluoride and Triclosan, its ribbon-like structure allows for more effective cleaning in very narrow interdental spaces.
Its wider surface allows for greater removal in areas with more plaque buildup.
It has a high removal and hygiene capacity (also indicated for orthodontic appliances and around implants).
Its high resistance prevents fraying.
Its softness, flexibility, and ease of use protect the gums without damaging them. Cut approximately 45 cm of dental tape, wrap the tape around the middle finger of each hand, leaving 10 cm of tape between them. Tense the tape and gently insert it between your teeth, sliding it with an inward and outward motion, applying pressure to the side of each tooth. Repeat the same process with the remaining teeth, always using a clean piece of dental tape.
