This hydrating and soothing retinol cream serum is formulated with Niacinamide, a vitamin known to reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone, as well as Vitamin E and Vitamin B5. These skin-loving ingredients balance common retinol side effects like redness, dryness, and flaking. Easily integrate it into your daily skincare routine to reduce wrinkles! Concern: How to integrate HELLO RESULTS DAILY RETINOL into your treatment routine? HR Daily Retinol is formulated and tested for daily use from the first application; however, if you prefer to gradually introduce HR Daily Retinol into your routine or if you experience mild irritation, which is common with first-time use, here are some recommendations to follow: - HR Daily Retinol should be applied to clean, dry skin. - Apply only one dose per use, pressing the dispenser down to get the right amount of product to use – with retinol, more isn't always better.
- To ensure even application, apply 5 drops, one to each area of the forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin, spreading it and avoiding the eye and lip areas.
- Be sure to use sun protection the entire time you use retinol; it will be even more beneficial for your skin.
- Avoid using other targeted treatments at the same time as retinol, including products with AHAs/BHAs or vitamin C.
- We highly recommend combining HR Daily Retinol with a daily cream as the step after HR to keep your skin regularly hydrated. A great alternative is to use a cream formulated with ceramides and hyaluronic acid, such as Confidence in a Cream. - If you experience any discomfort or irritation when you begin daily application, reduce the frequency of use to a tolerable level. Stop using the product for a day or two, then try resuming daily or every-other-day use.
- If you have particularly sensitive skin or prefer to introduce the product slowly, we recommend starting with HR Daily Retinol two days a week and then gradually increasing the frequency to one more night a week until daily use is tolerated.
- If you have had a reaction to retinol in the past, we recommend consulting your doctor before starting a new retinol product.
CAUTION: Do not apply to eyelids or lips. Avoid contact with eyes; if it occurs, rinse well with lukewarm water. Use with sunscreen and avoid direct sun exposure. Do not use on irritated or damaged skin or with other retinol products. If redness or irritation occurs, reduce frequency as tolerated.
