The Ordinary's EUK 134 0.1%
EUK 134 is one of the most potent and excellent antioxidants available, yet few cosmetics utilize it. One of its virtues is its ability to regenerate throughout the day, providing continuous antioxidant support.
It should not be mixed with acids, as they completely destroy it.
While this formula is very affordable, EUK 134 itself is quite expensive. Therefore, the suggested concentration is 0.05%. However, The Ordinary's formula uses twice the concentration.
- Purpose: Antioxidant support and redness reduction.
- Application order: Before oils and creams.
- Conflicts: Do not use with highly acidic formulations, such as those containing ascorbic acid.
- Time of Use: Morning and/or evening.
Apply alone or after water-based serums, before oils or heavier creams. Alternatively, mix with other treatments to significantly enhance their antioxidant capacity. Do not use with highly acidic formulations such as ascorbic acid suspensions. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing is recommended before use.
