The second step in the Depend Gel iQ system. Provides protection to the nails before applying the Gel iQ semi-permanent color polish.
This product is included in the Depend Gel iQ Starter Kit. Compatible with the GelLack LED lamp.
A UV/LED lamp and all products included in the Gel iQ Starter Kit are required to apply the semi-permanent manicure.
Gel iQ can also be applied to toenails, following the exact same steps as for fingernails.
Before starting, please consult the instructions for use and safety information included in the pack.
Important! If the base coat, color polish, or top coat comes into contact with the skin around your nails, clean it with a cotton swab moistened with the Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser before proceeding with drying.
This point is also important to keep in mind in steps 2, 3, and 4.
Remove excess product from the brush before taking it out of the container to avoid applying too much.
How to apply Gel iQ to your nails:
- Cleansing:Apply Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser with a cotton ball and thoroughly clean your nails. Let them dry for 30 seconds. Do not touch the surface of your nails after cleaning.
- Base:Apply a thin layer of Gel iQ Base Coat. Let it dry for 30 seconds under a UV/LED lamp.
- Color: Cover your nails with a thin layer of Gel iQ polish. Cure for 30 seconds under a UV/LED lamp. Repeat the process and apply another thin layer of Gel iQ polish, then let it dry for another 30 seconds under a UV/LED lamp.
- Top coat: Apply a thin layer of Gel iQ Top Coat to your nails and let it dry for 30 seconds under a UV/LED lamp.
- Cleaning/Final Finish: At this point, the surface of your nails will be slightly sticky. Clean it with a cotton pad generously soaked in Gel iQ High Shine Cleanser to ensure a high shine. It is recommended to have at least 12 cotton pads available for this process.
