Glycolic Acid: It is the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with the lowest molecular weight and therefore also the most potent. It is used to exfoliate the skin and remove dead cells from the epidermis, giving the face a much smoother and brighter finish.
Salicylic Acid: It is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) responsible for deeply cleansing dirt and oil from pores. It also helps to gently exfoliate and renew cells, and reduces the proliferation of bacteria, making it very common in acne treatment products.
